We are seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in a veterinary hospital. This role focuses on client service, scheduling, reporting, and general administrative support in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This is a part time position: Monday - Friday - 8am - 12pm.
Key Responsibilities:
-Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and strong customer service
-Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate multiple calendars
-Pull and prepare reports and assist with maintaining accurate records and databases
-Support and communicate with volunteers and assist with basic coordination and training
-Provide general administrative support to veterinarians and hospital staff as needed
-Assist with mail, supplies, and other day-to-day operational tasks
Qualifications:
-Strong communication and customer service skills
-Excellent organization and ability to multitask in a busy environment
-Comfortable working with computers, scheduling systems, and databases
-Team player with a positive, helpful attitude
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
-Veterinary or animal care experience is a plus, but not required
