Administrative Assistant Jobs in Rhode Island
Closely direct administrative aspects of company activities. Administrative assistants develop meeting agendas, improve processes, and collaborate across departments. They must have strong communication and planning skills in order to develop and implement new filing and information management procedures with other team members. They may also be asked to oversee budgets and verify accuracy for client and vendor billing.
Depending on the size of the business, administrative assistants may supervise secretaries and/or perform secretarial duties themselves. This includes handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, updating and managing records, scheduling appointments, and directing customers to the right employees/departments to meet their needs.
