Job Title: Receptionist / Office Support Team
SUMMARY
Our company is seeking a Receptionist to answer phones and greet guests. Additionally this position will assist with various administrative functions in our office. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team, working across different departments and interacting with customers as needed. The ability to multi-task is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, has good verbal communication skills, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.
To be successful in this position, the individual will need to understand the importance of treating internal departments as customers of the administration function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned).
- Answer the phones
- Greet guests
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Scanning and electronically filing invoice and customer documentation
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Filing
- Assisting Accounts Payable
- Assisting Accounts Receivable
- Assisting Cash Application
- Special Projects
- Other duties as assigned
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must possess strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office products.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (in-person)
- Monday to Friday
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent, from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other MS Office products.
