Legal Secretary - Equine law and Tax Controversies

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative support to attorneys specializing in equine law and tax controversies
2. Assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence
3. Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments
4. Organize and maintain legal files and documents
5. Communicate with clients and other legal professionals

Job Qualifications: 

 Requirement:  At least one full year of experience in civil litigation

Requirement: working knowledge of on-line filing procedures

Requirement: experience and expertise using computers

Experience with online payment systems, e.g. Zelle and Paypal helpful but not required

Knowledge of horses is helpful but not required

Tax background – helpful but not required

Paul Husband opened his practice to serve the needs of horsemen and horsewomen  in law and tax.  Mr. Husband is a former AHSA licensed judge and has raced horses.  He knows the horse industry well.  He also focuses on representing all, including horse business owners before the IRS and state taxing agencies.  He speaks tax as well as horse.  Mr. Husband also represents entertainment industry clients, particulary writers, producers and animators.
