The Enterprise Application Administrator II performs all aspects of functional system administration and technical application management for assigned applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP). This position is responsible for performing daily Database Administration duties in a large enterprise environment using Ellucian/Banner software and an Oracle database, interfacing with multiple MS/Windows and Linux servers. The Enterprise Application Administrator II works closely with the Director of Enterprise Systems to coordinate and plan future upgrades and projects that will benefit the entire institution, including identifying infrastructure and support service needs to facilitate distance learning course delivery.

Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform all aspects of functional system administration and technical application management for assigned applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), and ensure that the Ellucian Banner ERP is continually available for all users. Supervise Enterprise Applications Analysts and provide support as needed.
- Provide support to Enterprise Application Developers and Enterprise Application Analysts as needed.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain every component of the Oracle database and Oracle applications. Apply Ellucian Banner upgrades in Production and Test ERP environments and perform Oracle Database Performance tuning.
- Support enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other applications for centralized, enterprise-level technology service delivery. Helps ensure the area's technological level remains up to date and that assigned applications remain available. Helps with solutions to problems that may arise in an expeditious, efficient, and timely manner.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain Oracle Linux in Production and Test database environments. Create virtual servers using Hyper-V Manager. Update and maintain Production environment applications, including WSO2 Server, RabbitMQ, Jenkins, ESM, and others, and ensure that Active Directory data is accurate and that Single Sign-On to the Banner system is operating nominally.
- Assist in developing and testing plans for Banner upgrades and coordinate testing schedule with end-user departments. Coordinate daily with the Director of Enterprise Systems to discuss/plan projects that will fully benefit the entire institution.
- Ensure functionality of the Disaster Recovery stand-by system. Install MS/Windows security updates on servers that host Ellucian Banner ERP-related virtual servers.
- Some job duties/tasks require Banner/Self-Service downtime and must be completed after normal business hours.

- Ability to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
- Ability to test and debug computer programs.
- Ability to review and analyze systems specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments through prioritization and time management, and effectively documenting and communicating status of projects and issues to management and Information Technology personnel.
- Ability to exercise critical human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with the college community.

- Required:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience maintaining application systems in a large enterprise environment that are secure, stable, and operate at optimal performance.
- Experience in ERP systems, specifically Ellucian Banner, Oracle database systems.
- Working familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in third-party applications such as Canvas, Application Express, and Evisions.
- Five to six years experience programming complex solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, MS/SQL, Linux, and Windows shell scripting.
- Experience in other database systems such as PostgreSQL, MS/SQL.
