Job Summary

We are seeking a Legal Support Services Specialist for a contract and temporary opportunity in Palo Alto, CA. This temp-to-hire role is ideal for a detail-oriented office services professional who enjoys supporting a fast-paced, professional workplace and providing high-quality service to internal teams and executive-level users.

In this role, you will help keep daily office operations running smoothly by supporting document production, mail services, shipping and receiving, conference room setup, supply management, and general onsite service needs. The work environment is professional, team-oriented, and service-driven, with an emphasis on reliability, clear communication, and responsive support. Key Responsibilities

- Operate high-volume copying, scanning, and printing equipment to support business and legal document needs.
- Handle mail distribution, shipping, receiving, filing, archiving, and confidential document processing.
- Maintain office equipment by completing basic troubleshooting, clearing paper jams, and supporting routine service needs.
- Support conference room setup, supply inventory, service logs, and general office services.
- Perform light facility support tasks while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workplace.
- Deliver timely, customer-focused support to internal staff and executive-level users in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Job Type: Contract / Temporary, temp-to-hire.
- Location: Palo Alto, CA.
- Opportunity may offer potential for extension or conversion based on performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate onsite office services functions, including copy, scan, print, mail, shipping, receiving, and document handling.
- Support daily workplace operations through conference room setup, supply tracking, filing, archiving, and light facility support.
- Maintain service quality by completing tasks accurately, meeting deadlines, and assisting internal staff professionally.
- Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues and help ensure smooth daily workflow.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience in office services, administrative support, business support, or a similar role.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced professional office environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of copiers, scanners, printers, and general office equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, mailroom, or document services processes is helpful.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2 or more years of legal industry, law firm, business center, or professional services office experience.
- Experience handling confidential documents in a legal, corporate, or executive support environment.
- Prior experience supporting senior leaders, attorneys, or executive-level users.
- Working knowledge of high-volume print, scan, copy, mailroom, and document production workflows.
