Administrative Leadership & Experience: Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support in a fast-paced, professional environment. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative or executive assistant experience required, preferably in a public sector or educational setting. Experience supporting senior-level administrators strongly preferred.Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff, families, School Committee members, public officials, and community members while maintaining positive working relationships.Confidentiality & Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, manage sensitive information, and handle confidential personnel, legal, and operational matters with discretion and professionalism.Education & Technical Skills: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and office technology required. Experience with PowerSchool, web-based reporting systems, and educational software preferred.Organization & Operations: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate calendars and meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, maintain records, and support daily office operations in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with School Committee operations, Open Meeting Law requirements, public records requirements, DESE reporting systems, and educational administrative practices preferred.Collaboration & Problem Solving: Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs and proactively support district leadership.Additional Qualifications: Multilingual skills are strongly valued. Ability to attend occasional evening meetings and events as required.
