We are a thriving, multi-specialty Rural Healthcare Clinic dedicated to serving our community by providing top-tier primary care, specialty services, and comprehensive dental care all under one roof. We are seeking a dynamic Dental Front Office Lead to anchor our dental administrative team.
Imagine wrapping up your shift rotation and enjoying a full week off (7 consecutive days!) to travel, rest, or spend time with family—all while maintaining full-time status. If you are a natural leader who knows the ins and outs of dental administration, we want you on our team!
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- The Ultimate Schedule: Work hard, play hard. Enjoy a built-in 7-day stretch of time off between your shift rotations.
- Full-Time Stability: Steady, predictable income with a guaranteed 60 hours per pay period.
- Make a Difference: Work in a rewarding Rural Health Clinic environment where your work directly impacts an appreciative, tight-knit community.
- Collaborative Environment: Be part of a larger medical network, collaborating with primary care and specialty departments.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead Dental Front Desk Operations: Oversee patient check-in/check-out, scheduling optimization, and phone management specifically for the dental department.
- Insurance & Billing Mastery: Verify insurance benefits, present treatment plans, and manage collections with a heavy focus on Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal processing.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as a bridge between the dental team, patients, and the broader clinic management.
- Patient Advocacy: Provide exceptional, compassionate customer service to our community members, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Dental Office Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a dental front office setting is required.
- Medi-Cal Knowledge: Strong preference will be given to candidates with verified experience navigating Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal portals, eligibility, and billing.
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to reliably work 12-hour shifts within our Sunday–Friday operational window.
- Leadership Skills: A problem-solving mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to keep the front office running smoothly.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix).
