A growing industrial distribution and manufacturing-related organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP environment. This role will focus heavily on invoice processing, 3-way matching, reconciliations, vendor communication, and resolving discrepancies within a fast-paced operational accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume invoices in a deadline-driven environment
  • Perform 3-way matching and verify invoice accuracy against purchase orders and receiving documentation
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and research discrepancies
  • Review invoices, purchase orders, sales tickets, charge slips, and supporting documentation for accuracy
  • Process vendor returns, credits, and payment-related adjustments
  • Communicate with vendors and internal Branch teams to resolve invoice and payment issues
  • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities including posting accounting data and maintaining shipment/payment records
  • Support month-end close activities and prepare recurring accounting reports
  • Process vendor payments and assist with check runs as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience required
  • Strong 3-way matching and invoice reconciliation experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience working within ERP/accounting systems strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry exposure is a plus

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
