The Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the worlds largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a full-time Senior CDR Administrative Manager, to serve as a strategic partner to the CDR Executive Director overseeing and driving administrative and operational functions that support CDR priorities.

The successful candidate will coordinate Board, committee, and panel operations, manage executive communications, support strategic planning, and lead cross-functional project work across certification, recertification, compliance, and the enforceable Code of Conduct. This position requires exceptional judgement, discretion, and the ability to navigate high-stakes, confidential, and time-sensitive matters.

This position offers work-from-home flexiblity and a telecommuniting option for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides highlevel executive operations and strategic coordiation managing administrative and operational functions supporting to the CDR Executive Director, prioritizing initiatives, workflow alignment, and execution of key deliverables with projects.
  • Leads and administers governance and board processes including the Commission Board Officer election process, and oversees trademark and credential protection oversight with the USPTO trademark applications and renewals for CDR credentials, the credential misuse actions in business cases, and the RD and DTR misuse by credentialed practitioners, registration eligible candidates, student/interns, and the public, in coordination with legal counsel.
  • Facilitates crossorganizational accounts and governance operations by preparing reports and presentations for joint sessions, and supporting Commission ChairElect appointments, coordinating operations for CDR Committees, Panels, and Task Forces, and manages updates to the CDR Strategic Plan.
  • Oversees annual updates to the CDR Policy and Procedure Manual, responds to practitioner inquiries across multiple platforms, triages committeerelated questions, ensures accuracy of CDR website content, and provides operational support across teams.
  • Executes deliverables from Commission Board meetings, strengthens agendas and materials for Committees, Panels, and Task Forces, and leads as Staff partner to the Ad Hoc Research and Project Funding Review Committee colloborating with Academy Foundation.
  • Develops credentialed practitioner education resources and reference information to support Executive Director, supports the Dietitian Licensure Compact, and the Workforce Capacity & Demand Project, monitors CDR representation on Academy task forces, and contributes to major initiatives such as the Enforceable Code of Conduct Program for CDR Credentialed Practitioners.
  • Manages program monitoring and implementation support of certification, recertification, compliance, CPE provider, appeals, conduct, and maintenance fee service program changes.
  • Executes crossteam support with emerging of CDR highpriority initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree required, masters degree preferred, in Business Administration, Communications, Dietetics, Quality Management, Adult Education, Educational Psychology, or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) required.
  • State licensure if applicable.
  • 4 5 years of relevant experience in executive adminstration, credentialing, compliance, accreditation, governance, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, confidential information, and high-stakes decision-making.
  • Strong analytical reasoning, judgement, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with databases and online platforms.
  • Some travel required (approximately 2%; FNCE ).

The Academy offers a competitive salary range from $77,000 -$88,000 , commensurate with qualifications and experience, as well as an excellent benefit package, including medical, dental vision, LTD, tuition reimbursement and 401k match with IMMEDIATE VESTING!
