About Us:
We are a fast-paced professional couple living in Lakeview. We are very out-going, social, and love to travel. We have a full grown Boston Terrier, a 1 year old well trained German Shepherd pup, a cat and 2 young energetic boys. I own my own business and my wife is manages our rental properties. With our demanding work schedules, a buzzing social life and growing family, we are looking for the ideal candidate to help us keep everything running smoothly.
Job Specifications:
We are looking for someone who can work during the day, Monday-Friday. Hours can be flexible, but we generally like someone available to be at the house early to be able to walk our German Shepherd Max.
As an assistant/house manager, your main role would be overseeing and managing household/domestic tasks. This includes (but is not limited to):
Grocery shopping
Keeping pantry/toiletries stocked
Cleaning up after dogs
Making beds
Scheduling appointments (Doctor, Home Repairs, Cleaning Crew, etc)
Taking care of home repairs/issues on our behalf
As previously stated, we do have two dogs, a cat and 2 boys. While we do have a nanny we may ask you to baby/dog sit occasionally, so you MUST be okay around dogs and kids.
Light housework/straightening up
Requirements
1. Among the qualities we are seeking in an ideal candidate, chief among them is ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS. As stated before, we have A LOT going on and need someone who excels in organization. I cannot stress this enoughwe require someone with an EXTREMELY high level of organizational abilities in their own life or you cant help us in ours! Proactive critical thinking skills that allow you to task manage and create efficiencies in our home HIGHLY DESIRED! OCD UBER ORGANIZED PEOPLE WANTED!!!!
2. Additional qualities we are looking for include: someone highly self- motivated with good time management, trust-worthy, punctual, with the ability to multi-task.
3. Any higher education is a plus, but not necessarily a requirement. Our main priority is to find someone who is competent, with critical thinking skills, and the ability to complete tasks independently without the need for constant or direct supervision.
4. A valid drivers license and clean driving record is required.
5. Spanish language skills are highly desirable but not required.
6. Should we decide to offer the position, you must be willing to agree to a background and DMV check as well as a drug screen(illegal drugs only).
