Lamphere Schools is currently contracting the services of EDUStaff for Part-Time Secretary
All contract staff are required to have a fingerprint criminal history check processed through the Michigan State Police and FBI.
Position: Lamphere Center Secretary part-time
Location: Lamphere Center
Work schedule: 11-month position, 5 days a week, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00/hr
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures
- Experience in record keeping and filing
- Experience in computer programs; Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Possesses good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work cooperatively with staff and the community
- The administration may find such alternatives to the above qualifications appropriate and acceptable.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of correspondence and reports
- Calendar responsibilities
- Coordinate purchasing of supplies and services for office equipment
- Develop fliers for parents/staff (conferences, open house, no school, etc.)
- Ordering of all supplies (office, classroom, personal care, etc.)
- Coordinate staff accident reports and paperwork for clinic visits
- Record student late arrivals and early departures
- Maintain student files, record requests, and release of information forms
- Sort US mail and inter-school mail
- Dispense medication to students as necessary. Coordinate authorization for medication with medication sheets and maintain documentation in the Medication Book.
- Maintain office equipment
- Communicable disease reports to the Oakland County Health Department
- Enter building requests, building, and IT work orders
- Update student and staff emergency information
- Update all phone lists, staff lists, schedules, etc.
- Compile interview folders
- Perform all general office duties and other miscellaneous assignments as the administrator and/or lead secretary requested.
