SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Contracts Administrator II.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Description: SEACORP is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator II. The Contract Administrator II is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products primarily relating to US Navy. The Contract Administrator II will negotiate terms and conditions, consult with internal teams for compliance, and represent the company when dealing with external business partners. This is an entry/mid-level position.
Job Responsibilities include:
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Maintains and updates contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence.
Research contract issues and prepares analysis with citations.
Analyzes and reports potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
Provides direct contract support and reviews contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements, and adherence to company policies.
Maintains and provides status and tracking information on both internal and external customer requests.
Provide comprehensive contract lifecycle management to ensure accuracy.
Generates ad hoc reports, participates on special projects and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED.
Experience: At least 3 years of direct and relevant experience in cradle-grave DoD contracting.
Required Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of contracting for a variety of products and services for major systems, research and development (R D), and/or complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies.
Possess a working knowledge of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Material (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contracts.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office toolset (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Effective communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge:
Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship
