Comfortable working outdoors in variable mountain conditions including snow, ice, cold temperatures, and wind

What Youll Do:

Training & Compliance

Maintain all patrol training documentation with particular emphasis on OSHA compliance, recordkeeping accuracy, and audit-readiness

Organize and manage paper and electronic records for certifications, safety meetings, and materials inventories

Track upcoming certification expirations and proactively flag renewals to keep the team in continuous compliance

Operations & Logistics

Manage patrol inventory and routine purchasing including uniforms, equipment, medical supplies, and on-hill materials

Procure all supplies at the direction of the Patrol Director and Assistant Director

Complete departmental timekeeping daily and submit payroll accurately and on schedule

Incident Documentation & Guest Relations

Review incident reports for accuracy and completeness; collect photographs and additional documentation for serious incidents

Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and composure, applying strong conflict-management and problem-solving skills

Serve as a credible, trusted point of contact for guests requiring patrol-related assistance

On-Hill Support

Assist with morning hill safety setup and respond to patrol team needs as they arise on the mountain

Utilize valid medical and CPR certifications to respond to injured guests as required

Complete snowmobile training and assist with employee and injured guest transportation as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally; up to 25 lbs frequently

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing in an outdoor mountain environment

Exposure to extreme temperatures, snow, ice, rain, and wind throughout the season

Ability to operate a snowmobile after completing required training

Repetitive hand and wrist use (computer, filing, equipment handling); fine manipulation and data entry required

Work around ski lifts, gondolas, and mountain terrain at varying heights

Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and biohazards in the course of responding to injured guests

Valid California drivers license required; snowmobile and snowcat operation may be required
