Compensation: $20.96 - $23.61 hourly

Position Summary:

Serves as main point of contact for office and facilities for North Liberty site. Assist in day-to-day operation of North Liberty office and serving visitors. Responsible for providing administrative support for Guide the Gift work system including routine fleet maintenance.

Essential Functions and Performance Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration including greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, and handling mail and deliveries
  • Greet visitors professionally and ensure office is clean and welcoming
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, staff, and community partners
  • Support scheduled maintenance for IDN fleet vehicles as directed
  • Assist with safety protocol and emergency procedures
  • Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock is on hand, order supplies, and maintain organized storage areas and shared spaces
  • Assist with conference room set-up and tear down for onsite meetings, speakers, and events
  • Assist with building and grounds upkeep serving as primary point of contact for the North Liberty site
  • Efficiently handle building maintenance requests by working with Facilities team
  • Coordinate with cleaning services and other contracted work to ensure work is complete and standards are met
Additional Job Functions:
  • Work on-call rotation for emergency facilities needs on off hours
  • Shared responsibility on call rotation divided by team to serve as facilities point of contact for organization
  • On call rotation of one week duration every four weeks

Position Qualifications and Education Requirements: Associate’s degree or a combination of equivalent education or experience required. A minimum of one year customer service experience in a professional work environment is required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Maintain a current valid driver’s license and be insurable through IDN’s insurance.
  • Skill and ability to effectively use computers and computer software including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, Internet tools, and electronic mail.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and represent IDN professionally
  • Proven ability to be self-directed, work independently.
  • Ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and handling (seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise

working with hands).

  • Morgue or operating room environment. Exposure to bio-hazardous materials such as blood,

other body fluids, communicable diseases and pharmacological agents. Universal precautions and use of personal protective equipment is required.

  • Mental and visual fatigue associated with detailed work.
  • Drive a vehicle under various weather and physical conditions that may lead to visual and

mental fatigue.

  • Work weekends or evenings occasionally to perform tasks outlined in job description.
  • Must receive required vaccines based on outlined schedules to protect our employees,

healthcare personnel, donors, recipients, and families we may come into contact. (e.g.,

Influenza obtained annually by December 1 st .)
