Administrative Assistant
Supervisor:Coordinator
Job Type:Part/time 20 hours per week

Job duties and functions:
The Administrative Assistants duties will be providing administrative support to the Coordinator and other staff. Will be working in a Nez Perce Tribal member run Non profit based in Moscow/Pullman with a wide range of activities in Idaho and Washington states.
General Description of Job duties include the following:
Will coordinate with group staff on purchase of supplies needed for events of group.
Will ensure contacts at events are inputted into computer files and records kept of attendees
Will oversee the social media for group and work with providers and consultants on best practices for social media
Will network with other Environmental groups and tribal members and Tribal entities/groups
Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for group staff
Collecting and distributing emails for further action or response
Preparing communications such as memos, emails, invoices or reports
Writing and editing quarterly newsletters, reports and instructional documents
Creating and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
Will perform data entry
Will coordinate and assist on logistics for group activities and events.
Ordering and maintaining office supplies
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree preferred
Knowledge of social media and use of websites and Facebook
Able to attend activities and events held by group within 50 miles of group office
Good public speaking skills preferred
Some knowledge of American Indian Tribes or Indigenous groups
Good communication skills
Able to work with a diverse group
Some knowledge of Environmental issues in the Pacific Northwest
