Work Unit Overview:
The Forestry & Trust Lands Division (FTLD) for the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) manages the state's trust land resources to produce revenues for trust beneficiaries, while considering environmental factors and protecting the future income-generating capacity of the land. The division manages approximately 5.2 million surface acres and 6.2 million acres of mineral rights. There are 14 trust beneficiaries - including the public schools (K-12) and the university system. The Trust Lands are comprised of: Agriculture and Grazing Management Bureau, Forest Management Bureau, Minerals Management Bureau, Real Estate Management Bureau, Recreational Use Program and the Finance Program. The majority of division staff are located in six field offices around the state.
Job Overview:
The position provides administrative, operations and communications support for the Trust Lands bureaus of the Forestry & Trust Lands Division, including support for the Administrator, Deputy Administrator, Budget Analyst Supervisor, and Bureau Chiefs. In addition, the position provides administrative support for the State Board of Land Commissioners (Land Board), which includes the Governor, Attorney General, State Auditor, Secretary of State, and Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree business administration, communications, accounting, and/or office technology.
2 years of related experience.
Other combinations of education or experience may be considered.
