Overview:

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Full-time OR Posting Clerk in Same Day Surgery. Work Full-time hours (4-9-hour shifts or 5-8-hour shifts). Provides administrative support and coordination for scheduling, registering, medical records, billing and clerical functions. Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Heartsaver CPRAED Certification - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Preferred)

Experience

• One year of related experience (Required)
• Medical Terminology Experience (Preferred)
• EPIC Experience (Preferred)
• Medical Office Experience, great phone etiquette, computer skills, and experience working with Word and Excel (Preferred)
