Job summary
This position will be responsible for reception duties and clerical support for our Corporate Records Department. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, has superior computer, proofreading, grammar and time management skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, professional team environment.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting, assisting and/or directing clients and visitors
Receiving and directing client telephone calls and answering general inquiries in an expedient and professional manner
Handling incoming and outgoing courier packages, completing online courier waybills and ensuring adequate disbursement tracking
Recording and distributing incoming correspondence and mail
Maintaining bookings and visitor log, arranging catering and setting up boardrooms for meetings/luncheons
Preparing and updating telephone and staff list as well as updating the intranet
Preparing various administrative tasks including taking payments, printing and supporting office services
Maintaining an efficient electronic file system
Qualifications include:
Post-secondary education from an accredited legal program preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
Excellent proof reading, writing, spelling and grammar skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and to thrive in fast-paced, professional team environment
Excellent customer service skills
