SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Administrative Coordinator provides and coordinates administrative services and assistance for the head of the department as well as to departmental personnel, including various secretarial, clerical, administrative and receptionist services, ensuring confidential, accurate, efficient, and timely support in achieving departmental objectives.
Position DetailsNon-union. This position is temporary full time for up to 12 months.
Key Accountabilities
Organize and summarize information in order to prepare correspondence, reports, graphs, memos, forms, presentations and other departmental documents ensuring Corporate standards and type.
Prepare, distribute and update documents and correspondence of a confidential manner (e.g., topic summaries, briefing notes, performance reviews).
Organize and coordinate the receipt and distribution of information ensuring internal and external communication requirements are met and respond to requests from external clients for information.
Attend meetings, and participate where appropriate, taking minutes and finalizing the results for distribution.
Maintain departmental records and filing systems, ensuring material is properly recorded, stored and expediently retrievable.
Review, code, authorize expenditures and reconcile monthly expense statements, ensuring compliance with the departments budget and Corporate policies.
Develop and maintain administrative processes to ensure effective office management, budget control and record keeping. This includes working with other departments to ensure Corporate-wide consistencies.
Review current office and administrative practices/processes and recommend changes that will enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Diploma from a recognized secretarial program.
Three (3) years experience in a secretarial or administrative environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.
Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
