What You'll Do: Organize and process documents, ensuring documents are properly archived, saved, labeled, filed and version-controlled Upload, download, and distribute transaction documents via document management systems, secure portals, and email Assemble and organize commercial real estate closing binders Coordinate with paralegals and attorneys to track outstanding documents and closing items Prepare signature page packets Deed plotting Prepare preliminary drafts of correspondences and legal documents Conduct preliminary research to support cases, under guidance of a paralegal or attorney Assist with other commercial real estate focused administrative tasks as needed Regular in-person attendance is required What We're Looking For: Bachelor degree is required Clerical experience required, commercial real estate and/or law firm experience preferred Interest in growing into a paralegal role or attending law school Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask Physical Requirements : The work is primarily sedentary. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights. Retrieve and replace objects from shelves up to 8 feet high. Capacity to lift objects weighing up to 20lbs May need to work more than the standard 37.5 hours per week to accomplish essential duties of the position.
