The Director will possess a comprehensive understanding of admissionsrequirements, student accounts, financial aid, academic program plans, registration processes, and campus resources. Additionally, theDirector will play a critical role in fostering engagement, supporting enrollment and retention efforts, and ensuring operationalexcellence. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Campus Leadership & StudentEngagement Serve as the primary on-site representative of Piedmont University at the Athens campus, providing awelcoming, responsive, and student-centered environment. Act as a central point of contact for prospective, new, and currentstudents, providing guidance on admissions, financial aid, registration, and program pathways. Build strong relationships withfaculty, staff, and students to enhance the overall campus experience and sense of belonging. Support enrollment and retentioninitiatives by ensuring high-touch, concierge-level service for students. Coordinate campus tours, student orientations, andengagement activities in collaboration with Admissions and Student Affairs. Student Administrative Services Maintain in-depth knowledge of all academic programs offered at the Athens campus, including admissions criteria, progressionrequirements, and degree pathways. Assist students in navigating: Admissions requirements and application processes Financial aid and scholarship inquiries Student accounts and billing questions Course registration andscheduling Serve as a liaison between students and central offices (Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, BusinessOffice) to ensure timely resolution of issues. Monitor student service trends and identify opportunities to improve processes andservice delivery. Campus Operations & Facilities Oversight Oversee day-to-day operations of theAthens campus to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Coordinate maintenance of facilities, equipment, andcampus resources to ensure optimal functionality. Serve as liaison with Facilities Management and external vendors to addressmaintenance, safety, and operational needs. Oversee scheduling and utilization of campus space, including classrooms and eventareas. Ensure compliance with university policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee activities ofcontractors, service providers, and vendors supporting campus operations. Monitor contracts for compliance, service quality, andcost-effectiveness. Coordinate campus-related projects, including maintenance, renovations, and improvements. Administrative & Financial Management Assist with preparation and management of the Athens campus operatingbudget. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies. Prepare reports, analyze data, and provideinsights related to campus operations and student services. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and administrative systemsto support campus operations. Event & Community Engagement Coordinate and oversee campus events,including academic programs, student activities, and community engagements. Collaborate with internal and external partners toenhance the visibility and utilization of the Athens campus. Support initiatives that strengthen Piedmont's presence andpartnerships within the Athens community. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Administration andFinance and/or President. Regular and predictable attendance is required. On-site work is required. Incumbents must remainrelevant in the area of employment and flexible to changes in work related to institutional needs. TypicalQualifications Required Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of progressive administrativeor operational experience, preferably in higher education. Experience with site administration including working with vendors,maintenance, budget, and contract management. Preferred Master's degree in Higher Education,Business, or related field Experience working in a satellite or branch campus environment Familiarity with studentinformation systems and financial management systems Licenses and Certification Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) designation is preferred. Valid Georgia Driver's License (or obtained within 30 days of hire date) and satisfactoryMVR.
