The mission of Caldwell Schools, USD 360, is to promote learning as a lifelong process for all students as they prepare for the future. The schools, in partnership with home and community, will provide challenging opportunities in a safe and caring environment.

Caldwell USD 360 is a Pre-K-12 school district in south central Kansas. The district also operates a virtual academy for middle/high school and adult students. The district is in the Kansans Can Redesign process as a Gemini II school district.

Caldwell Children`s Center -USD 360 in conjunction with Special Education Interlocal 619 provides pre-school classes to three and four year old students. The pre-school is located on the north end of the school complex.

Caldwell Elementary School -Is located on the southeast end of the school complex. The elementary houses the K-5 students in a remodeled building. The elementary has a Title I program, all-day Kindergarten, and provides after school tutoring for students.

Caldwell Secondary School - Located in the middle of the school complex is the 6-12 building which was constructed in 2003. The district provides all the state required core courses, a wide variety of elective classes, and has developed a technology rich vocational program. The school has a one to one Chromebook initiative for all grade levels. Inter-distance learning is used to link Caldwell to other school districts around the state for the purpose of providing additional courses to students. CTE programs and certificate earning opportunities off campus are available.

Chisholm Trail eLearning Academy -Is located on campus. Students in grades 6-12 may enroll and get their education virtually. The school is also designed to allow adult students to earn a diploma in a nontraditional setting. The program allows all 6-12 students to meet district and state requirements or to enhance marketable skills for employment.

The district offers students the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities and is a member of the KSHSAA and the South Central Border League.
The district is a member of the Sumner County Interlocal #619 Special Education Cooperative.

The community of Caldwell is located on Kansas Highway 49 and US Highway 81 in south central Kansas. It is 55 miles south and west of Wichita and 15 miles west of Interstate 35 in southern Sumner county. The city started as a stop on the historic Chisholm Trail and the community is proud of its heritage. The town of 963 supports a doctor, dentist, a hospital, two banks, a grocery store, several eating establishments, and is the headquarters of the area telephone corporation.
