We're currently looking to add a Receptionist to the team at our esteemed National Title Insurance company in San Diego. This position offers a long term contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Duties:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees courteously and professionally.
  • Operate a multi-line telephone system to manage incoming calls and transfer them to appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Answer inquiries and provide information to callers regarding company services, products, and policies.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for conference rooms and executive staff.
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and packages, and distribute them accordingly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and conference rooms.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as needed.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality guidelines.
  • Provide general support to employees and visitors to ensure a positive experience with the company.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a receptionist role or related field
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Lotus Notes
  • Ability to work effectively under immediate supervision
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
