Job Title: Administrative Associate Department: Student Life | Counseling and Consultation

Job Description
The Administrative Associate manages the office operations in the main and satellite units, as well as provides significant administrative support to the director of a large, multifaceted center. Leads all aspects of supervising office support staff for the Counseling and Consultation Service office; supports director of center with correspondence, manuscripts, meetings, and serves as active member of Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team of department; interfaces with Student Life Human Resources to support recruiting efforts and assists with onboarding of all new hires for department including Senior Staff, Administrative Staff and trainees; liaison and problem solve for a combination of operating problems and 75+ professional staff, adjunct staff, and department trainees.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Level Degree with a Major in business administration or human resources. Experience in recruiting. Knowledge of and experience with university policies, rules and regulations; experience in highly confidential work environment and handling confidential information; considerable experience (at least 3 years) supervising others; considerable experience providing administrative support to a leader; travel coordination; experience managing multiple electronic calendars; considerable experience in office practices and procedures, including customer service/public relations; operation of computer, multi-line phone system and basic office machines and equipment; skilled with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills; producing detailed materials at a high level of accuracy.

Posting Range: $70,100.00 - $71,424.00
