Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to support Cardiology billing, specifically for a clean-up project related to the wind-down of utilizing 'legacy EPIC,' an older version of the system being phased out over the next few months. The role also involves assisting with the training of newly hired staff in process and system navigation and responding to inquiries received via telephone and other correspondence from patients, guarantors, insurance carriers, and departments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the training of newly hired staff in process and system navigation.
  • Respond to inquiries received via telephone and other correspondence from patients, guarantors, insurance carriers, and departments.
Essential Skills
  • Insurance verification
  • Medical billing
  • Customer service
  • Data entry
  • 1+ year of EPIC experience
  • Experience working in a multi-specialty ambulatory clinic
  • Ability to communicate with insurance companies
  • Understanding of the claims process

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
