The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting school operations and communication. You will work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, and staff to execute a wide range of tasks, including external communications, office management, and event support.
You will also
- Use basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create visual materials
Draft and distribute weekly parent communications in collaboration with administration
Assist in maintaining the school website and calendar to ensure timely and accurate content - Capture and curate photos and videos of school events and campus life
- Assist with social media content aligned with school mission and marketing goals
- Assemble the annual yearbook using publishing software
- Support the front office with daily tasks such as answering calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining student and staff records
- Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Assist with event planning, vendor coordination, and special projects as needed
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Bachelors degree preferred
Experience in education administration or business administration preferred - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Canva and Google Workspace experience highly valued
- A collaborative, proactive multitasker with a positive attitude and attention to detail
