Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Practice Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic andpassionate PACE team at the CHA East Cambridge Care Center. This front-facing role is crucial to the success of our program, acting as the first point of contact for participants and ors, as well as ensuring a weing andanized outpatient experience.
The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, highlyanized, and a strongmunicator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This individual will facilitate effectivemunication among our health providers and participants, as well as serve as a between other CHA departments, outside service agencies, and consulting providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, families, and ors to the PACE Department at CHA East Cambridge Care Center.
Provide exceptional customer service through face-to-face and phone interactions.
Coordinate participant appointments and manage scling using EPIC.
Support providers and interdisciplinary team members with administrative and clerical tasks.
Ensure accuratemunication between internal departments and external partners.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of participants in all interactions.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred Minimum 1 year administrative experience, preferably in an outpatient medical setting Strong interpersonal skills with excellent customer service and telephone etiquette Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail andanizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Bilingual in Portuguese highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with EPIC electronic health record systems preferred
