Receptionist
Riverview Intermediate School
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (8 hrs/day); 202 days per year over 12 months

Range III
New Hire Rate: $22.36 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Answers incoming phone calls and directs as appropriate. Greets all visitors, staff and students and assists them with concerns or problems.
- Verify attendance by contacting staff and/or parents and enters corresponding codes in Skyward. Generates daily absence reports. Types and mails truancy letters as needed.
- Process student notes as required for absences, transportation changes or early out dismissals. Write up student admit slips for all late arrivals and validate reason(s).
- Sort and distribute all interoffice and outgoing mail. Check in supplies from deliveries. Enter requisitions as requested.
- Assist with building specific tasks as required or assigned based on need.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3-5 years of clerical experience in a busy office environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a high pressure environment
- Previous experience working with students
- Excellent Communication Skills
