This role is contract based that set to end around January 2nd. You will working on site in one the 4 main locations based in downtown Vancouver, BC.
The Receptionist provides exceptional service by greeting and assisting all visitors and answering inbound calls. This role is crucial for maintaining a professional image for our client by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service. The receptionist may also be cross-trained to assist in other service areas such as mail/shipping operations, hospitality, and general office/facilities work to ensure a top-tier customer experience.

Responsibilities

Provide 5-star customer service to all employees and visitors through all forms of communication.
Answer and properly route incoming calls using our client's company-wide switchboard.
Ensure all visitors sign and understand our client's Non-disclosure Agreement (NDA).
Issue temporary and permanent access cards to employees and visitors.
Provide light administrative support, including scheduling meeting rooms, ordering catering, and assisting with various tasks as needed.
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is neat and orderly.
Service and replenish supplies in barista, pantry, and conference areas.
Assist with mail services, including sorting, distributing, receiving, and tracking packages.
Proactively seek out additional work during downtime and assist other teams as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
Experience: 1-3 years of prior work experience, with a strong preference for previous administrative, reception, or concierge professional experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency with computer-based systems, including multi-phone line systems, PC/Mac, and MS Office.
Strong aptitude for problem-solving and handling change.
Competencies:
