The Auditor position specifically prepares and initiates the automated End Of Day processes for the hotel. Agents are expected to maintain friendly and helpful demeanor and assist guest in troubleshooting and service recovery situations. The right candidates will be able to learn the reservations software, check email and staff communications before during and after shifts, and work well in a team environment. This position to be filled specifically covers 3-11pm shift on Wednesdays, but if the candidate is interested in fill-in hours, we can cross train shift work for the same position. The position is Union (Unite Here Local 878!) and is a seasonal position with opportunity to become year round. Health Care, paid vacation, pension benefits, and sick leave are tiered for long term/ permanent positions after 120 days. The selected candidate will receive the training needed to work independently and the expectation is that they can fulfill the duties required by the 45 day probationary period of hire (3-7 training shifts depending on experience). Additional duties include restocking retail items, light lobby cleaning and sanitation, keeping a clean desk area, completing Marriott front desk onboarding training and continued online training as required by Brand, and maintaining regular shift reports with supervisor and front desk department. This part-time position will have a lot of opportunity to work independently on school work, personal work, and other busy activities as long as guests are attended to and the lobby is kept secure.
