The University of Iowa Health Care department of Radiology is seeking a Clerk III - Receptionist to perform and coordinate clerical work such as examining and evaluating data according to established guidelines requiring knowledge of both assigned and related work areas.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform Radiology Reception duties.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families and all University of Iowa Health Care clinics.
- Complete the EPIC Radiant check-in process.
- Effectively communicate with patients, staff and clinics.
- Facilitate patient flow through the Radiology clinics and communicate information to the technologists.
- Assist and direct patients with health forms
- Perform general clerical duties
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a very busy ambulatory clinical setting

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 0800-1630; holiday scheduled on a rotating basis. Work hours may be adjusted depending on departmental needs.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Any combination of related clerical office experience/related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full-time employment.

- Medical Terminology
- Public Contact/Customer Service
Desired Qualifications:
- Six months clinical administrative work preferred
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills desirable
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills
- EPIC experience preferred
