HUMAN RESOURCES RECEPTIONIST (Administrative Clerk)

Provides excellent customer service to visitors and callers in a busy human resources office. Evaluates inquiries and provides information to internal and external customers. Assists Recruitment and Selection personnel with administrative tasks. Performs light typing, filing, and mail sorting; logs/distributes incoming mail and routes to appropriate staff. Adheres to County/Human Resources (HR) established policies and procedures; works with sensitive and confidential information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of at least two (2) years of high school.
PREFERENCE FOR ONE (1) YEAR OF EXPERIENCE: Using a multi-line telephone system; working in a HR/recruitment environment; using Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook; performing receptionist/front desk duties in an office environment. Also desirable: College-level coursework in Business/Public Administration or Human Resources; bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
