Based in sunny Southern California, our Retail Support Center (RSC ) is the heart of our corporate operations, dedicated to supporting both our retail and online stores. The RSC is where strategy meets execution. From trend forecasting to tech innovation, our teams work together to bring the Tillys experience to life both in-store and online.
Position Summary
Were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Receptionist to support our front desk at the Retail Support Center.
Key Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Serve as a liaison between field employees and RSC employees.
Answer multiple phone lines and direct calls to appropriate person.
Direct Visitors to the appropriate person(s) and conference room (s)
Must ensure vendor/customers are greeted promptly and professionally
Must always maintain the highest level of professionalism.
Must always maintain office employee in/out log at front desk.
Must always maintain front office housekeeping standards.
Support HR department with various projects and administrative duties.
Supports store employees with various questions and needs.
Maintain supply room and replenish inventory when needed.
Upholds, supports, and promotes all company policies and procedures
Handle employee returns.
Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience brings:
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
Must be punctual and dependable.
Must have excellent written/grammatical and verbal communication skills.
Maintain clean and organized work environment.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Ability to prioritize projects frequently.
Must have strong proofreading abilities.
Typing of 45-55wpm
Strong phone etiquette skills
Strong analytical skills, documentation skills, and people skills are a must.
Ability to handle confidential matters.
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma required.
2 years customer service experience preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Professional office setting with low to moderate noise
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Occasionally/Regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. and navigate stairs
- Frequent walking and movement between floors/departments

Leadership & Team Development
Non-Management:

Compensation
Hourly Range: $18-$20/hr. Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including prior relevant experience, qualifications, and skill set.
What to Expect
Schedule: Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.
Work Location: Irvine, CA minimum of 5 days per week in-office.
