Job DescriptionBenchmark International is looking for an experienced and driven Professional Receptionist to be part of our growing team. As a receptionist, you will be a central part of our busy and vibrant office. The Receptionist will lead the front of the house for the team and serve as the public face of Benchmark's headquarters in the prestigious MetWest One location. This role is responsible for all front-of-office requirements such as the general appeal of the area, greeting clients, answering and directing in-bound calls, providing general office support, and other tasks as assigned.Job ResponsibilitiesYour experience throughout the years will be a great resource for the Benchmark team.Your specific duties will include:

Professionally answer and direct calls to appropriate person.Greet and direct clients to the appropriate conference room.Keep the reception area and conference rooms clean, neat and presentable.Provide general office support, performing a variety of clerical activities such as photocopying, mailing, etc.Order, receive and stock office supplies.Place office maintenance orders as needed.Schedule and maintain conference room calendars.Order breakfast/lunch for meetings as needed.Comply with all policies, practices and procedures and report all unsafe activities to supervisor.Book travel for team members as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsAs a receptionist, you must be a highly energetic and passionate individual with a positive and highly motivated can-do attitude. It is also vital that you present well in person and over the phone.The receptionist role is client-facing and the first person a guest encounters when visiting our offices, so the highest level of professionalism is critical to the success of any candidate.Specific qualifications for the Receptionist include:

Ability to read and interpret documents.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to calculate simple mathematical concepts.Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Strong data entry skills.Basic personal computer skills including e-mail, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.Excellent customer service and time management skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Must be able to work in the office every day from 8:30am to 5:30pm as this is not a remote or hybrid position.

SalaryThis position will receive an annual salary in the range of $45,000 - $50,000, or expressed hourly, at $21-$24/hr.BenefitsAll Benchmark International positions offer paid time off, standard holidays, and community service days.
