AIX System Administrator

Must HaveTechnical/Functional Skills

• Must be good with HP hardware and OneView
• Good knowledge on patching compliance and processes
• NERC CIP Compliance

Roles &Responsibilities

• Manageand Maintain IBM AIX servers including OS management, Firmware updates and AIXMigrations.

• PerformAIX patching, HMC patching, and NIM setup and Operations.

• AdministerLinux servers including patch management, performance tuning, and Systemupgrades.

• EnsureCompliance with security benchmark.

• ManageSatellite servers for patching and system management.

• Provideexpert level support for Linux/AIX system security including access control,audit logging and vulnerability mitigation.

• Manageand troubleshoot HP Physical server infrastructure.

• Goodunderstanding on virtualization technologies.

• Supportday to day issues like server hung, unexpected reboot and performance issuesfor DB hosts.

• MaintainSystem documentations and collaborate with cross functional teams.

• Familiarityof cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.

• Goodunderstanding of Automation tools like Ansible and deep scripting knowledge forconfiguration management, deployment and Compliance.

• Basicunderstanding of Dynatrace monitoring tool.

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

• Mustbe able to clearly interact with customers, understand the customersrequirement.

• Interactwith team leaders and other team members to improve support quality.
