Location: La Mirada, California 90638
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Shifts Available: 11 am to 5 pm (Monday Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in person, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-desk experience
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls using a switchboard system
- Take and relay messages accurately to appropriate staff members
- Provide general information about the organization to the public, clients, and customers
- Direct visitors and callers to the correct department or personnel
- Manage inquiries from the public and customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain awareness of staff movements in and out of the organization
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including typing, filing, and document preparation
- Prepare letters, reports, and other documents as needed
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries; process outgoing mail
- Schedule and manage appointments and maintain appointment diaries (manual or electronic)
- Organize and coordinate meetings and meeting rooms
- Operate office equipment such as computers, fax machines, calculators, and printers
- Log and announce visitors, ensuring proper security and sign-in procedures are followed
Must-Haves:
- Typical experience required: 13 years in a receptionist or front desk support role
- Proficient in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
