Client Overview : Our client, a home furnishings company, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team.
**This role is 5 days onsite in Scarborogh, Ontario.
Role Overview: As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent service.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate staff members, take messages, and handle inquiries with efficiency.
- Ensuring all guest sign-in on arrival.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Address any questions or concerns from visitors and clients, always providing excellent customer service.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail and shipments. Assist marketing team with seasonal mail outs.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including keeping the front desk and lobby tidy.
- Organize and maintain the coffee machines and snack bars, including monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to replenish coffee and snack supplies as needed.
Receptionist Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in a high-volume administrative or customer service role preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, including handling up to 8 phone lines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with VOIP (Voice Over IP) systems is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and service-driven approach.
- Energetic and tenacious team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
- Highly organized and efficient in planning and executing tasks with exceptional attention to detail.
