Job Summary:

The Receptionist will provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors while performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for executives or managers.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Perform data entry and maintain filing systems.
  • Address and resolve visitor or client inquiries and complaints.
  • Provide information about the organization and its services as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences.
  • Assist with office supplies inventory and ordering.
  • Support other administrative staff with various tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Education –

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Competencies/Skills –

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change.
  • Excellent PC skills including MS Office applications.

Experience –

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
