Position Receptionist
Description
Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Rate of Pay: $20.76 - $23.00
About this role
At Outdoor Research, this role can be the catch-all for building questions, you'll support staff and guests. Serve as a receptionist at the front desk, including answering phones, greeting and directing guests, managing shipping and receiving, and performing clerical office tasks such as ordering office supplies and preparing coffee.
What you will do
+ Administer central switchboard, answering all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
+ Ensure that 7th floor opening and closing procedures are followed consistently and thoroughly.
+ Ensure that internal and external customers are greeted promptly and in a professional manner.
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Possess a professional and neat appearance
+ Shipping and receiving for building. Distribute incoming mail.
+ Support monthly company events
+ Assist in maintaining a clean, organized reception area.
+ Keep the office supply room stocked with essentials and maintain coffee machines daily.
+ Other duties may as assigned.
Position Requirements
What you should bring to the table
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED),
+ Six months to one year related experience in reception or office assistant environment, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Comfort in coding bills and supply orders.
+ Strong organizational skills, excellent phone skills, and good problem-solving skills.
+ Flexibility and ability to work independently.
+ Computer proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing.
+ Ability to establish an excellent attendance and punctuality record, and an ability to work with an ethnically and culturally diverse workforce.
