Eaton's ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Clerk II-Shipping/Receiving-1st Shift at our Dallas, TX location!
The hourly rate for this position is $22 per hour. The core hours are 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Mandatory overtime will occasionally be required.

What you'll do:
The Clerk II provides comprehensive support to Eaton's Shipping and Receiving department. Responsibilities include reinforcing shipping and receiving processes and procedures, ensuring safety in the shipping process and area, managing data collection, reporting, and storage, and handling packaging and shipment services for non-prototype domestic and foreign shipments. Additionally, this role involves managing mail and coordinating the internal delivery of received packages.
In this function, you will:
- Provide consistent coverage and support during core business hours (typically 6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and overtime hours as needed, including on short notice.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all domestic and international freight standards and collaborate with the Logistics Lead to keep up to date with all Eaton governing shipments.
- Comply with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department's requirements relating to shipping and receiving activities.
- Support peers in times of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; complying with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility, and cross-training or flexing for other employees/job functions when necessary.
- Use appropriate lift assist or partner lift when moving material/products. May lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
- Operate a fork truck after completion of training, evaluation, and issuance of Operator license.
- Perform inventory cycle counts as needed
- Manage documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate daily data entry into the electronic tracking, shipping, and storage systems and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) are in compliance with the accounting and finance policies, including Oracle.
- Participates in on-the-job-training, safety initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and housekeeping duties to main a safe and organized work environment.
- Support the department leads and supervisors with day-to-day activities and provide temporary supervision in their absence.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months experience with a Stand-Up Forklift, Sit-down Forklift, Cherry Picker, or Reach Truck.
- Minimum 6 months clerical and administrative experience
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with the following software: Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS), Microsoft Office Suite, SAP.
- Previous experience delegating warehouse tasks to others.
