Bookkeeper/Financial Administrative Assistant - ORLANDO OFFICE
Starting: $17 to $21/HR
This position is responsible to provide financial and administrative support to company owner.
Assist with scheduling, bills, correspondence, filing and additional administrative duties as needed. The candidate must have strong accounting understanding and background.
Responsibilities: Bookkeeping
Review vendor invoices for accuracy and pricing
Update Profit & Loss statement to assist in managing company performance. Make sure there is an accurate record of the financial transactions
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Perform basic accounting procedures such as A/R, A/P and bank reconciliations
Update bank and credit card accounts daily with QuickBooks
Prepare financial statements, e.g. monthly and quarterly financial reports, weekly forecasts to Management Team summarizing current and projected financial position
Responsibilities: Administrative assistant
Responsible for setup and maintenance of employee personnel files
Enroll employees in company insurance policies as eligible
Process bi-weekly payroll through third party software
Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications
Assist with additional employee matters as requested
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Assist owner with all ad-hoc requests
Act as administrative point of contact between owner and external clients
Oversee the office administration and ensure it is maintained at all time
Experience:
Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel and Word
Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)
Bachelors or Higher Degree (Preferred)
