Job Description:
As junior design and marketing associate, you will work with our Director of Marketing, as well as our sales and product-support teams, to help us improve our web presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable with digital design, content creation, and operational work. The role includes creative support, such as editing images and graphics in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and work on basic video editing and content creation.
You will support a range of brands and products, from agricultural equipment to outdoor power products (Log Splitters, Post Hole Diggers, Tractor Implements, etc.). Day-to-day activities include website maintenance, including creating and editing new product listings, monitoring website functionality and inventory-related issues, and identifying areas for improvement on our Shopify store(s). You will also prepare marketing materials for on-line platforms such as eBay and Amazon, and for our commercial clients out-of-house web platforms.
Responsibilities:
Create, update, and maintain product listings on our websites
Coordinate online marketing campaigns with our sales team and vendor partners
Develop marketing materials for a range of products
Support product photo and video editing projects
Create product-placement content for social media; schedule and publish posts
Web design
Packaging design
Provide occasional customer service assistance
Liaise with sales staff, technical support, and warehouse team
Required Qualifications:
Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
1-3 years of experience with graphic design and/or contentment creation software, specifically Adobe Suite
Desired Competencies and Experience:
Experience with e-commerce platforms, especially with Shopify
Copywriting experience for ads and captions
Experience with for-pay advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, others
Experience with NetSuite CRM system
Basic familiarity with coding
