Responsibilities :
The Administrative Assistant works under the immediate supervision of the Business Administrator. The general responsibilities include:
- Maintain confidential business office records, electronic files, and document management systems, ensuring accuracy and organization.
- Process financial transactions including deposits, purchase orders, accounts payable, invoice tracking, and account reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Administrator and Business Office, including scheduling, correspondence, meeting minutes, and general office coordination.
- Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries while assisting with payroll documentation and other assigned duties.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 5 years related senior level administrative support experience; prior experience in a business office and in a public school district highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required with ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn and utilize financial, payroll, and enterprise software systems.
- Ability to discretely handle and maintain confidential records and information.
- Capability to prioritize projects and tasks to ensure that work gets done within the required timeframe.
- Associates degree, or a combination of comparable training and/or related experience.
