Summary/Objective: The production clerk is responsible creating product tags, load sheets, work order packets and labels for the manufacturing and shipping departments. This position is also responsible for assembling plussing binders and run sheets that are necessary for the manufacturing of Green Cell Foam.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Create product tags and loading sheets for shipping department

Construct work order packets and labels per the manufacturing production schedule.

Assemble binders for the plussing department in addition to the work order packets for fabrication.

Put together live entry run sheets for the following manufacturing areas: fabrication, plussing, and press.

Assist direct manufacturing in covering breaks and lunches for necessary employees

Calculate and enter the boxes per hour data for each customer on the shift notes spreadsheet

Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.

Coordinate with KTM staff/engineers on when production orders are being produced and when completed to meet shipping deadlines.

Education / Experience:

High school diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred; Minimum 1 year of inventory / manufacturing experience required

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software and inventory software.
