Job Summary

A Rochester-based business services team is seeking an Administration/Clerical professional to support the Leasing Operations Department in a contract-to-hire opportunity. This Administrative Support role is ideal for a detail-oriented clerk or administrative assistant who enjoys accurate data handling, organized paperwork, and process-driven office support.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare written communications, forms, and departmental documents using Microsoft Word.
- Accurately enter, copy, and verify numerical data and other information in internal systems.
- Compare numbers, names, and narrative details to ensure information is complete and correct.
- Alphabetize names, categories, and documentation according to established procedures.
- Read, interpret, and process standard forms, files, and leasing operations documentation.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Leasing Operations team as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Range: $20 to $23 per hour, based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Workday: 7-hour workday.
- Workplace Type: On-site in Rochester, NY 14611.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment Length: Temporary for 2 months with the option for permanent hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support daily clerical and administrative functions for the Leasing Operations Department.

- 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, office support, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word for document preparation and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately compare names, numbers, and written information.
- Comfortable working with numerical data, basic calculations, and internal computer systems.
- Computer-savvy with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Customer service experience and a professional communication style.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable self-starter with a quick learning ability and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting leasing operations, property management, administrative services, or business operations.
- Experience processing forms, maintaining records, or working with document-heavy workflows.
- Prior temporary or contract office support experience with a strong record of reliability.
