St. Marys College of Maryland is accepting resumes for the position of Academic Fiscal Administrator , reporting to the Associate Dean of Faculty. The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $58,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
The Academic Fiscal Administrator (AFA) is responsible for providing a variety of fiscal and administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the Central Division in Academic Affairs. The AFA provides specific fiscal support to departments within the Central Division as needed. They must be able to consistently interpret, monitor, and critically analyze detailed information regarding fiscal operating policies and procedures. Expected to be an excellent communicator, they must also possess strong professional and administrative skills that support efficient workflows. The AFA must be highly comfortable working with multiple streams of information and task requests that are time-sensitive and require constant reprioritization of workload. They must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise considerable discretion and judgment in all work areas. The AFA will be part of a team of other fiscal administrators and must be able to collaborate professionally with other members of the team in Academic Affairs and across campus. They must be able to handle confidential and sensitive issues with discretion.

- High school diploma or GED equivalency with successful completion of courses typing/word processing, bookkeeping and fiscal management. Associates degree preferred.
- At least seven (7) years of responsible experience in office management, administrative work, or secretarial assignments involving advanced records keeping (directly related business school or college courses may be substituted equally for up to one years experience); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be bondable.
