Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Tacoma, WA Hybrid (3 days in-office)
Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually ($38.46 - $43.96/hour)
Schedule: 35-hour work week
LHH is working with a highly regarded, global law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy trial and litigation team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to litigation attorneys
Draft, format, proofread, and revise complex legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials
Prepare and manage Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
File documents in state and federal courts, including e-filing
Maintain attorney calendars, including court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and meetings
Assist with trial preparation and coordination
Support case management, including organizing files and maintaining records
Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, client correspondence, and reporting
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a litigation legal assistant or legal secretary
Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with document management systems such as iManage or FileSite
Exceptional proofreading, organizational, and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities
High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information
