Data Platform Administrator - Located in Eagan, MN

The Da Plform Administror keeps Marvins cloud da plform running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. This role focuses on the daytoday health of our da toolsprimarily Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran making sure theyre reliable, wellgoverned, and costeffective.

This is an operionsfirst role , not a solution design role. Youll work closely with Da Architects, Da Engineers, and Analytics teams to support analytics, reporting, and da pipelines, while helping the plform scale as our da capabilities continue to grow.

• Youll manage and monitor the core components of our da plform across development, test, and production environments. This includes configuring environments, maintaining plform settings, and ensuring performance, availability, and reliability for users and downstream systems.
• Youll be responsible for administering Snowflakemanaging dabases, warehouses, roles, access controls, and resource monitors. Youll keep an eye on usage and costs, tuning warehouse sizing and scaling to strike the right balance between performance and spend, and partnering with finance and plform stakeholders when needed.
• Youll also support the operional side of dbt and Fivetran , monitoring jobs and connectors, troubleshooting issues, and working with Da Engineering to resolve pipeline failures or performance problems.
• Security and governance are a key part of the job. Youll enforce rolebased access controls, support audits and reviews, and work with Da Governance and Security teams to ensure plform configurions align with enterprise policies.
• Finally, youll collabore closely with da and analytics partnershelping teams use the plform effectively, sharing best practices, contributing to documention and runbooks, and supporting BI and reporting workloads.

• You have handson experience supporting a modern cloud da plform in a production environment, with a solid understanding of Snowflake fundamentals like warehouses, dabases, schemas, roles, and usage monitoring. Youre comfortable supporting tools like dbt and Fivetran from an operional standpoint and understand how da pipelines and analytics workloads behave.
• You know how to manage access securely, troubleshoot performance and reliability issues, and think critically about cost optimizion. Youre collaborive, can communice clearly with technical and nontechnical partners, and are comfortable working across engineering, analytics, architecture, and governance teams.

• Bachelors degree in Informion Systems, Computer Science, or a reled field or equivalent practical experience
• 24 years of experience supporting cloud da plforms or analytics ecosystems
• Working knowledge of SQL and modern analytics tools, enough to support and troubleshoot plform usage
• Experience supporting BI and analytics tools (such as Power BI) is a plus
• Strong problemsolving, communicion, and organizional skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a fastpaced, projectdriven environment

• Experience supporting enterprise da warehouses or analytics plforms, especially in complex or manufacturing environments
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipelines and da transformions using dbt or similar tools
• Familiarity with modern da engineering practices like version control, code reviews, and environment promotion
• Interest in growing over time into more handson da engineering and pipeline support work
