SaaS Platform Administrator (Salesforce)

Our client is seeking an experienced SaaS Platform Administrator to lead the day-to-day administration, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on Salesforce professional who can balance platform governance, user support, system optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable business solutions.

The successful candidate will ensure platform reliability, security, integration performance, and user adoption across departments. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective Salesforce solutions while maintaining best practices in administration, automation, reporting, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings
  
• Configure and enhance the platform using workflows, flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and other declarative tools
  
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot platform issues, and coordinate timely resolution of support requests
  
• Support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and established integration methods
  
• Manage data quality, imports, exports, backups, and ongoing system governance activities
  
• Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and support project delivery
  
• Develop documentation, train users, and promote platform best practices across the organization
  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Salesforce environments
  
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, configuration, automation, reporting, and data management
  
• Experience supporting system integrations and working knowledge of Salesforce APIs
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
• Experience creating clear documentation, user guidance, and training materials
  

• Experience working in county or local government environments.
  
• Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Cloud Consultant
